The If in Life is an alternative rock band based out of Portsmouth, NH. After 2 demo’s, 200+ shows/touring and 5 years of being together without a single member change, they have released their first full-length effort on local non-profit label Flyrock Records. This newest hour of music (Concepts of Sound) may be a far cry from the material they created on their first two demos, but it is clearly their most mature and well executed.

Switching from an original sound that could almost be considered alternative thrash, they have emerged 2 years later with a modern alternative rock album. With proceeds going to the local non-profit label/studio and www.dovermainstreet.org, it’s clear that their priorities have shifted down a nobler path. With almost 150,000 views and over 120,000 plays on MySpace, as well as 20,000+ plays on YouTube, it’s clear that the local music scene has been enjoying The If in Life for some time.
